We refer to our announcement dated 28 November 2007 in respect of 3 Sale and Purchase Agreements entered into between our wholly owned subsidiary, Sarawak Plantation Agriculture Development Sdn. Bhd. and Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS)to purchase 4 parcels of plantation land, measuring approximately 7,620 hectares, for a total purchase price of RM19,050,000-00.
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that LAKMNS has obtained the consent of the Director of Lands and Surveys for the transfer of the 4 parcels of plantation land and as such the 3 Sale and Purchase Agreements as referred to above have become unconditional on 22.04.2008.
