Extension Of Time And Adjournment Of Annual General Meeting

The Board of Directors of Sarawak Plantation Berhad (SPB) wishes to announce that the Companies Commission of Malaysia had approved its application for extension of time to hold its 24th Annual General Meeting and to lodge its financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 for up to 90 days in accordance with Sections 340(4) and 259(2) respectively.

Earlier, SPB had on 20 May 2021 announced that its 24th Annual General Meeting originally scheduled on 28 May 2021 will be held on 10 June 2021 at 9.30 am and the venue changed to B424 - B432 Tower B2  Level 4  ICOM Square  Jalan Pending  Kuching Sarawak. 

However with the implementation of MCO in the State of Sarawak from 29 May 2021 till 14 June 2021, SPB will have to adjourn the holding of its 24th Annual General Meeting. 

SPB will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and will notify its shareholders of the actual date of the 24th Annual General Meeting in due course.
