The Group’s internal and external auditors and certain members of senior management attended the
meetings by invitation during the financial year.

pages 26 to 29 of this Annual Report.
2. Summary of Activities
The activities carried out by the Committee included the following:

Reviewed reports from the internal and external auditors and recommended the same to the Board
for acceptance;
n
Evaluated existing policies, established audit quality and ensured compliance with the Group’s policies;
n
Provided assurance that the Group’s goal and objectives were achieved and assets were safeguarded;
n
Ensured that proper processes and procedures were in place to comply with all laws, regulations and
rules established by relevant regulatory bodies;
n
Reviewed related party transactions and conflict of interest situations that could have arisen;
n
Reviewed and approved the annual audit plan proposed by the internal auditors;
